I believe it was Emerson who said, "A false attention to consistancy is the hobgoblin of little minds." Most professional art consultants and dealers recommend working in a consistent style, but I find it funner to paint in what ever manner fits me at the moment. An I'd rather enjoy my time painting than fretting over whether my style is acceptable to anyone other than myself.

I'm gonna say this out loud, I really enjoyed reading a critique of yours. Very well thought out, and that seems to be something of an oddity on this site.
I just want to say that I find your Critiques very detailed and helpful, and I wish more people on this site would take the time to leave critiques like yours
I was wondering if anyone other than me and the artists read the critiques. It's nice to know I'm the only one. Thank you.
